|I perform anesthesiology under conscious sedation and GA as part of a patient’s global care. It is essential for me to understand all the previous phases of patient management, starting with the regulatory system, so that I can interact effectively and be onsite at the right time. I want to learn more about current procedural steps from IV lithics administration – often performed in the angio-suite – to the different technical approaches. I need to synchronize drug administration with the procedural steps, before and after recanalisation, managing the situation of acute stenting from a pharmacologic standpoint, and I need to be ready and know how to react in case of complications. My role is essential and to be an optimal player I need to be perfectly aligned in close interaction with interventionists and neurologists.|
